Restaurant: Mayfair Supper Club

Mayfair Supper Club located at the Bellagio hotel and casino and resort in fabulous las Vegas. This is the second time I have been at the Mayfair Supper Club and took my son Brady for his 21st birthday. My MGM, casino host kindly gave me a comp for the meal for this event and celebration, and this is my review. For starters as an appetizer, we ordered the coconut shrimp, which looked dismal and I could have made this the same or better myself, and then we ordered the Mayfair sushi roll, which was pretty good, but not the best. For dinner, Brady ordered the branzino and I ordered the prime rib, cut table side. Look at this picture. The branzino looks so bad and not real, and the prime rib was delicious, if you minus the fat. I know prime rib is a fatty cut of beef, but there was more fat than meat. The wine was okay ordering a Cabernet. The dessert was okay, and the appetizer for the fried shrimp was just fair to middling. Unfortunately, being there a 2nd time going here and wanting to come back, I heard the show was bought out by another company and this was horrible. The performances were on for 5 minutes and off for 20 minutes and the performances while they were on stage had nothing to do with anything. In other words, no storyline, no plot, just there. I actually see the Mayfair Supper Club shutting down in probably less than 2 years. Look at these tablecloths that are draped down like actual drapes from a window. So bad that if you were to stand up and walk to the restroom or leave the table. You could actually trip and take the entire tablecloth with yo falling on the floor and practically hitting the next table next to you. I would stay away from this supper club and go to Delilah, the Supper Club at the Wynn Hotel and Casino. 1.5 stars out of 5
